Five Lands

Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are five marvellous fishing villages characteristic of the Liguria coast, in the segment extending from Punta Mesco to Punta di Montenero in the province of La Spezia, which were recognized in 1997 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Clear waters and unspoiled seabed, vineyards and olive groves in the historical steep plots overlooking the sea, excursion trails of rare beauty, flavours and aromas of a seafood-based menu; all of this and much more you will find in the Cinque Terre, which can be reached from Marina di Massa via a breezy ferryboat ride or by train from Carrara along a scenic railroad.
